Mom's Pound cake

1 cup Crisco
1¾ cups sugar
5 eggs beaten in 1 at a time
½ tsp. baking powder
2 cups flour
2 tbs. milk
¼ tsp. nutmeg
pinch salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Bake in tube pan slowly abut 50 min. at 350°
