1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
put in mediume sauce pan and cook until reduced by 3/4

Toss 1/2 cup walnut meats into the syrup and pour on to a flat baking sheet

Bake 300 degrees for about 20 mins stir frequently
