Pecan Pie
1 cup sugar
1 tabls flour
4 large eggs beaten
2 cups pecans ( 1 cup pieces and 1 cup whole)
pinch salt
1 cup light corn syrup
2 tbs butter
1 teas vanilla
1 - unbaked 9 inch pie shell
Step 1:
Combine sugar and flour sift, add beaten eggs to this mixture whisking blend well then add the pieces of pecans and stir to mix, set aside
Step 2:
In a sauce pan combine syrup and butter. Bring this to a rolling boil and pour over the egg mixture and mix
The pour the filling into the pie shell sink the whole pecans on top and bake at 350 for 45 mins to and hour. Filling must be well set
